Welcome to Technology with Mr. Carrico!  Technology is around us everyday during this course we will be exploring what technology is and how it affects our daily lives.  During this process we will be learning though the research, design, and construction of technological devices.

Materials:

Each student will be expected to have a notebook, for notes and quick sketches and a 3-ring binder to keep handouts. You will also be expected to bring your assignment notebook each day.

Grading:

Each assignment, project, notebook check, quiz and test will be given a point value. Grades are determined by adding up each students points then dividing by the total possible points available.

Absences:

If a class is missed

·   It is your responsibility to see the teacher as soon as possible to get missed materials

·   Ask if you need to come in before school to make up anything.

·   Talk with a classmate to find out what happened during class and get notes.

Behavior:

A technology classroom can be a fun and exciting place. There are many tools and machines, many of which you may have never used before.  To maintain a safe and healthy environment you are asked to follow the rules set forth in the student handbook, as well the classroom expectations.
